Conference on Tiffany & Co. glasswork and architecture of St. Paul's set for April 20

A conference about the architectural aesthetic of the Tiffany & Co. through the perspective of St. Paul's Episcopal Church, 58 Third St., in downtown Troy will be held April 20.

The church holds a special place in the history of Tiffany design, as it is one of only five remaining churches with a fully integrated Tiffany sanctuary that includes not only the glasswork, but the chandeliers, the altar rail,  and even the organ pipes and pews.

The conference keynote speaker will be Alice Cooney Frelinghuysen, curator of American decorative arts at the Metropolitan Museum in New York City.
